Save The Trails Rally - march to Nillumbik Council Feb 22nd 5.30pm

More and more equestrian access is being lost as “Civilisation” encroaches on riding space tracks and trails. Now you can do your bit to help save some of them.

The below is from the organisers of the planned people March (no horses or dogs please) on February 22nd.

In addition to joining the march please sign the petition  http://www.gopetition.com/petition/42719.html

Use it or lose it.

Dear Save The Trails PEOPLE!

As you know we have all been working on different aspects of the battle to save horse access to the trails in Nillumbik.

v      We have developed a “Save The Trails” flyer to raise awareness and are all working on circulating to all in the community.

v      We have developed a petition which many of you are working hard on getting completed.

v      There is a newly created group called NHAG or Nillumbik Horse Action Group which has a new email as well as very soon, a web address.

v      A few of us, such as Cath & Kay C, have been working hard on talking directly with council, councillors and the relevant other authorities on different avenues to help in the fight.

v      And of course many of you have been writing and sending in your letters of submission to council as well.

And now….there is a planned community rally where we hope everyone, whether they are a horse owner or not, will come out in support of this fight and join us in a march to council.

Banners are feverishly being made by our wonderful rally committee (Ronnie, Kay D, Pam & Catherine) and now it’s time to spread the word!

The rally will occur on Tuesday the 22nd of February at 5:30PM. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED RALLY FLYER AND CIRCULATE TO ALL YOU KNOW

Regards
Walter
